HOME BUYERS' GUIDE TO NORFOLK PROPERTY

On the south-east coast of the UK, Norfolk is a desirable if not sparsely populated placed to live. Within a reasonable distance to London and near Europe's busiest ferry port at Dover, it is strategically located to provide the best access for frequent travellers and commuters into the city. But under the surface, Norfolk has a great deal to offer homebuyers, including several sites of outstanding natural and historical beauty, which make it a hidden gem right in the corner of England.

Road
While Norfolk has no motorways of its own, it does benefit from a number of A roads which serve to connect the county to surrounding areas. The A11 provides a connection to London from the county, running through Cambridgeshire which is nearby. The A47 connects to the Midlands via the East, while the A10 provides an alternative route into the City.

Along the Great Eastern Main Line, Norfolk is linked to London, Suffolk and Essex, with regular train services running during the week and at peak times to each destination.

Norfolk has its own international airport at Norwich, which flies direct to a variety of destinations in Europe and beyond. Additionally, the London airports are accessible by rail and by bus, to provide extra coverage for more long-haul, exotic locations.
